#272. A Quiet Day on the River.

  14.5 x 21.5, oil on panel. "Gilbert Munger" lower left. A paper label on the back states: "M Neuman Fine Art Dealers, 32a Duke Street, St. James, London SW1." Most likely a scene near Paris from the 1880s. Sold at the Christies sale at 85 Old Brompton Road in London on 12 September 2013 (RACHEL-9429) for £1,500 + 25%. Then it was offered but did not sell at the New Orleans Auction Galleries, LA, sale of 10 December 2017 as lot 843, est $3,000 - $5,000.
